As this is probably on everyone's minds, IEEE stands for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. The IEEE is the world's leading professional not-for-profit association for the advancement of technology. It has more than 377,000 members in 150 countries.
The core purpose of the IEEE is to foster technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity.
Graduating this year? This is a dinner designed to facilitate the transition from student member to young professional by introducing students to professionals. Look inside to learn more.
IEEE Southern Alberta Section is planning a TISP (Teacher In-Service Program) project in the Spring, and is looking for volunteers to help out with planning a workshop, which is likely to be held in May. Look inside to know more about this amazing opportunity.

which usually has a cost of $10.
This year, after 7 years of success, the Microprocessor Group (MPG) is going to be running for the 8th time. It is a course targeted to industrial applications of microprocessor design and programming.
