The International Collaboration on Complex Interventions (ICCI) is a project funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) on the theory, methods, ethics and economics of interventions to promote health at a population level. Population and community-level interventions set out to shift the risk of entire populations by focusing on community and societal-level factors (social, cultural, economic and environmental) which account for the distribution of risk in a society. Our interest is in policies and programs, and ways to devise better systems within health, education and other sectors so as to improve health and reduce health inequalities.

This website serves the needs of the researchers funded by this collaboration who are based in Canada, the UK, the USA and Australia. You’ll also find information about events, resources, and some past and current projects of our team.
