Research Interests

  • Cardiovascular complications of liver disease:
  • cirrhotic cardiomyopathy,
  • central neural regulation of circulation in cirrhosis (including cannibinoid receptors and portal hypertension)
  • mesenteric venous capacitance in cirrhosis,
  • peripheral vascular dysfunction in cirrhosis.
  • Clinical studies in chronic viral hepatitis.
