Thinking About a Degree in Social Work?

We are delighted that you have found the Faculty of Social Work, Southern Alberta Region, where we offer both undergraduate and graduate programs. In Lethbridge  and Medicine Hat you can obtain your Bachelor of Social Work  a credential that allows you to register with the Alberta College of Social Workers or similar regulatory bodies across Canada and the US. We are also the place where you can take the next steps to advance your career by obtaining a Master of Social Work. We invite you to explore our programs and to come talk to us about which program will suit your needs.

What a wonderful time our staff and visitors have had watching a pair of Great Horned Owls raise a nest of three in a cluster of pine trees outside our office windows. The administration office has had a pair of binoculars ready to observe their developments over these past weeks. What a delight it has been!

April 25th in Medicine Hat & April 26th in Lethbridge we had the opportunity to show our appreciation to a group of community members who act as field instructors for our students as they practice their various practicums out in the communities they live in.

A big congratulations to our Social Work Student Association! They hosted a silent auction at the 12th Annual Social Work Forum and successfully raised $1200.00 for Womenspace Resource Centre.
