2001                PhD, Faculty of Education and Social Work, University of Sydney, Australia. Thesis area - Mental Illness, Recovery, Rehabilitation.

 

Current Research: Mental Illness and Recovery, Family Care giving for people with disabilities, Access and Equity issues for marginalized populations particularly people with mental disorders, immigrants, refugees and indigenous people, Welfare Reform and Disability, Qualitative Research Methods., International Social Work.   

Teaching Areas:  Clinical Social Work Practice in Mental Health and Addictions, Anti Oppressive Social Work Practice, Social Work Research, Models of Social Work Practice.
