INTERESTING FACTS
- Global Village brings international and domestic students together to participate in programs geared towards three key learning objectives: increasing cultural awareness, increasing global and local awareness, and helping students develop leadership skills in a multicultural community. Students receive recognition for their participation on their co-curricular record.
- Global Village is the newest residence on campus, offering outstanding facilities to students including double beds, flat screen TVs, community lounges and kitchens, and a convenience store.
- Hotel Alma has 85 euro-style standard rooms, 15 one-bedroom suites, five boardroom-style meeting rooms hosting up to 12 people and one large conference room which can host up to 125 people. Hotel Alma serves a critical need for on-campus accommodations for guests, conferences and special events year-round.
- Hotel Alma has partnered with Haskayne School of Business' hotel and resort management program to provide an experiential, hands-on learning opportunity for students pursuing a career in hospitality and tourism.
