NUTV Talent Development Series - Weekend After Effects Workshop Aug. 20-21

Everyone is welcome to attend this workshop led by Mitch Barany that is designed for new and aspiring visual effects artists. As a participant, you will follow step-by-step instructions on how to use Adobe After Effects, have the opportunity to ask questions and receive one-on-one help. If you can provide your own laptop with a working version of Adobe After Effects, we encourage you to do so. If you are unable to provide your own laptop, or if you are unable to download Adobe After Effects, NUTV will loan you a laptop with the appropriate software for use during the workshop only. Each day runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a lunch break.

Time: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days

Instructor bio: 

Mitch Barany is a filmmaker, visual effects artist and animator. His short films have screened in over 70 international film festivals. Mitch has worked with various clients including the National Film Board of Canada and the City of Calgary to produce high quality media content.

2015/16 University of Calgary Student: $150

2015/16 NUTV Member: $150

NUTV Scholarship Applicant: $10





Payment accepted via PayPal or cash at the NUTV office. No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the workshop begins. Limited spots available so please register early.
