Charity Dinner for Doctors Without Borders in Syria

Date & Time:
May 20, 2017 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm
Health Research Innovation Centre (HRIC) Atrium

Join us for our second annual charity dinner project, the Student Refugee Initiative (SRI) charity dinner, at the Foothills Medical Campus HRIC Atrium, to raise funds for Doctors Without Borders (MSF) for medical aid in Syria. Here, you will have the opportunity to listen to an expert panel of speakers, such as Dr. Reza Eshagian of MSF, as well as learn about the experiences of those in violent conflicts. All proceeds from the dinner ticket sales will be donated to the MSF/Doctors Without Borders charity non-profit aiming to provide medical aid to those ravaged by war in Syria. Your presence and gracious donation will serve as another step towards ensuring human rights and medical care for the world's most vulnerable.

Children under the age of 10 are free and do not require a ticket.

Ticket proceeds go directly to our donations pool for MSF/Doctors Without Borders' Syria Emergency Appeal.

Halal and vegetarian food will be available at the venue, in addition to gluten-free food options as well. Please contact us if you have any other dietary restrictions and accommodations may be made. The event attire is semi-formal to formal.
