Communications

Communications to students, faculty, staff and the university community will be managed as per the communications protocol indicated in the University of Calgary Master Emergency Response Plan. All communications will be sent out by External Relations following the Master ERP Protocol.

This Communications Protocol includes:
Web page information directly linked to the University of Calgary home page (www.ucalgary.ca) and updated on a regular and timely basis.
Email: A Security Alert to distribute email to all University of Calgary email users.
Telephone: The Main Emergency Information Number of the University is 220-3000.
Written communications: posters, memos, etc.
Radio – CJSW Radio, 90.9 FM, will announce emergency information upon request.
