UCalgaryStrong Festival

UCalgaryStrong Festival just days away

The UCalgaryStrong Festival features live performances from artists Chelsey Dawn Hazelton and Lauren Mann and the Fairly Odd Folk; an artisan market, and a quiet reflection space. Free active living programs will also be offered throughout the afternoon including yoga, Zumba and geocaching.

Integrity Bags

Academic Integrity Bag Initiative

If you're writing an exam in the Red, Gold, or Auxiliary Gym as well as some classrooms, you'll be given a clear plastic bag to store your valuables. The bag measures 13.5" by 18.5". If you have a backpack or larger items with you, there are day-use coin lockers available in the Kinesiology change rooms.


The Caring Campus Project Survey

Caring Campus Survey

Caring Campus is a Movember funded project that is learning about substance use and mental health on campus. This survey is anonymous and confidential and should take about 20 minutes. Respondents will be entered to win great prizes including an iPad mini, 10 $250 bookstore gift cards, and 10 $50 Starbucks cards! The survey closes April 18.

Volunteer with Campus Tours 

The Campus Tours department is looking for reliable, motivated students who want to share their experiences and passion for the university! Be a campus tour guide volunteer for the spring and summer terms and connect with new and future students while earning credit for your co-curricular record. Email or visit the campus tours website.


Community Helpers

Apply to the Community Helpers Program

The Community Helpers Program provides the mechanisms to identify and support existing “natural” helpers for youth and young adults in the community. Participants are expected to attend all three training days (May 6-8).


Lukida Solutions

Help break the cycle of poverty

Lukida Solutions is a social enterprise whose mission is to provide an adaptable, sustainable, and holistic means of bringing early childhood education to kids in urban slums. Support us by sharing or contributing to our online campaign (April 13 - May 8) to raise funds for a pilot project in the Dominican Republic.

Survey studying diversity and equity issues on our campus

The Office of Diversity, Equity and Protected Disclosure is conducting a survey to study diversity and equity issues on our campuses. Responses are completely anonymous and all data will be aggregated to ensure confidentiality.

Convocation volunteers are still needed! - We are looking for assistants for various roles during our May 7 and June 8-12 convocation ceremonies.
