Career Services annual Career Expo: In Review

Career Services held their annual Career Expo on Tuesday, February 2 in the Jack Simpson Gymnasium. The event featured 75 employers from a wide variety of fields. Students from every faculty were able to meet recruiters and learn of new companies and job prospects. For some employers, such as Richardson International, it was their first experience at a University of Calgary career fair. Others, such as PepsiCo have had a longstanding relationship with the university. The employers offered information regarding current part-time opportunities, summer internships and postgraduate careers. Hundreds of students in attendance were able to network with recruiters, learn of prospective career paths, and leave with valuable information to help as they move into the job market.
