Laptop Wired and Wireless Network Access

Laptop Wired Network Access

For wired connections, laptops need to be registered to gain network access.  When plugging into an open network jack within Computer Science, you will be issued a temporary IP.  Open a web browser to be redirected to our network registration page.  Login with your CPSC credentials (i.e. this service requires that you have a CPSC account).   Once your laptop is registered, renew your DHCP lease or reboot to gain full network access.

Please note: Unplugging an existing desktop machine to borrow its connection will cause that port to disable.

Wireless Access

Wireless access is provided by the University's Information Technologies group. AirUC-Secure is available to all members of the University community.  Accessing this service requires that you have a campus IT account.
