Additional Sources of Help

  • General & Course Related Information: General and course related information is available from the Computer Science main office located in ICT 602. The main office staff are available to assist you from 8:30am - noon and 1pm - 4:30pm Monday to Friday (except holidays).
  • Tutorials: Continuous Tutorial, "CT", is available to help CPSC students with programming problems. This service is located in the North West corner of the Math Science 1st floor undergrad lab and is only available during the fall and winter semesters. Problems with assignment interpretation or design of programs are to be discussed with your Professors or TAs during lab or lecture time and not with the continuous tutorial instructor. 231/233 Tutorials are available to help students specifically registered in either CPSC 231 or CPSC 233. .
  • Student Societies: In addition to enhancing the student experience through social events, the Computer Science Undergraduate Society (CSUS) and the Computer Science Graduate Society (CSGS) are available to assist students with academic issues and concerns.

Scheduled System Maintenance

The 3rd Tuesday of each month is reserved for regular maintenance and major upgrades which may require significant system downtime.  Scheduled downtime is announced via email to the Department mailing lists or posted to the "News and Events" section of the Department website.  Downtimes which occur outside the 3rd Tuesday of the month are due to unforeseen failures or mission critical repairs.
