EMERGENCIES - WHAT TO DO IN AN EMERGENCY

If you are in crisis, or you're dealing with a student who is in crisis, there are resources on campus to help you.

If the emergency has occurred during business hours (9:00 - 4:00 Monday through Friday), call Counselling at 403 210-Well or 403 210-9355, #2 for Counselling or come directly to our offices in MacEwan Student Centre, Room 370. Advise the receptionist that this is an emergency and a counsellor will see you as quickly as possible.

If our office is closed, the following contacts may be able to assist you:

U of C Campus Security (403) 220-5333

U of C Health Clinic (403) 210-WELL or (403) 210-9355 (psychiatrists on staff)

You may also call the Calgary Distress Centre's 24-hour phone line and speak to a trained counsellor.
