Post-secondary education is a significant investment of time, energy and money. Today’s student faces an unprecedented number of career possibilities. If you’re in your final years of high school (Grade 11 or 12), or if you’ve been in the workforce for a number of years, you may be thinking about continuing your education at the University of Calgary. Like most prospective students, you probably haven’t made a final decision about what to study. The services detailed on these pages will provide you and your parents with assistance in making educational and career decisions.
Prospective students can in meet individually with a counsellor to develop their career plans. All individual services are provided by a Registered Psychologist specializing in career counselling. Fees for this service may be eligible for coverage under Health Benefit Plans or Employee Assistance Programs. Sessions are available by appointment only and can be arranged by contacting the Centre at 210-WELL or 210-9355. Late afternoon and evening appointments are available.
Fee: $150/hour (incl. GST)
Testing Fees: $25/test (Not including interpretation)
Workbook Cost: $15
Full fee is charged for appointments missed with no notice, and for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.
