Career Services for: Career Decision-Making Strategies |
Students often make three major career decisions during their university years: "What will I major in?" "Which occupations will I pursue?" and "What job offer will I accept?" Futurists indicate that career planning won't stop at the end of university, as most adults will be facing three to five major occupational changes in their lifetime and anywhere from seven to fifteen job changes. Your university years are a time to develop self-knowledge, occupational expertise and the skills to manage your career effectively. Your occupational choice will be a determining factor in your future lifestyle.
