The Service Portfolio is a newly established department under the leadership of the Vice President of Finance and Services, designed to facilitate the provision of a shared service model for Human Resources, Financial Services and Information Technologies. A Shared Services model consolidates functions, activities, services or resources into one stand alone unit. The goal of shared services is to improve service, to manage costs and build a sustainable operating model, and to improve organizational efficiency.

Our goal is to help shape and promote a culture of service across the university, from the student to the researcher to the support staff member.

Within the Service Portfolio are four teams whose combined efforts are helping to establish a shared service environment across the university:
