Vern Kimball has been called a “top difference maker” and one of “Alberta’s 50 Most Influential.” As CEO of the Calgary Stampede, he’s leading the venerable Calgary non-profit through its 100th anniversary in 2012. Kimball's personal foundation of western values and an unshakable passion for his city have led the Stampede through re-branding, re-development and re-invention to ensure that it remains a vibrant contributor to Calgary’s image on the world’s stage. He also devotes his time and energy to the Rotary Club of Calgary and the Calgary Philharmonic Society. |
