Welcome Counsellors and Teachers!

As your students prepare to leave your school and move onto the university of their choice, you are a key resource for information about programs, scholarships, admissions and other details. This page is designed to be a quick reference for you as you face those questions and need the answers!

Our relationship with guidance counsellors is vital and valued. You are our link to the students, and we are your link to what's happening at University of Calgary. We offer a number of valuable services:

  • One-on-one student advising
  • Recruitment activities - Career fairs and school visits
  • Admissions Workshops - Opportunity for students and their families to get help with the application process.
  • School Visits - If you would like your school to be added to our mailing list or to book a representative from the University of Calgary for an admissions presentations, please contact us on the counsellor hotline at 403-220-6921 (Counsellors and Educators only please).
  • Open House - Our annual Open House event takes place on Saturday November 5, 2011 from 10am -3pm in MacEwan Hall.
  • Information Evenings - Our annual Information Evenings for students takes place on Tuesday, March 20 and Wednesday, March 21.
  • Counsellor updates- yearly on-campus updates to learn about what's new at the University of Calgary.
