Canada Child Benefit

The Canada Child Benefit (CCB) is a tax-free, monthly payment provided by Canada Revenue Agency to eligible families. This benefit is designed to assist parents with the cost of raising children under 18 years of age. Effective July 2016, the Canada Child Benefit will replace existing federal child benefits including the Universal Child Care Benefit (UCCB), the Canada Child Tax Benefit (CCTB) and the National Child Benefit Supplement.

We believe that no kid should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports. KidSport provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport.

Jumpstart is more than just about getting kids active. It’s about giving kids from families in financial need the same chance to participate as their neighbours, their classmates and their friends. Whether it’s the chance to try a new sport or to continue with a favourite one, no kid should be left out.
